Prof. Uday Bhate is an alumnus of IIM, Ahmedabad, with over 40 years of Corporate, Academic and Entrepreneurship experience. At IASCC, Prof Uday leads our research on India’s consumption economy.
Prof. Bhate has over 14 years of industry experience at Middle and Senior Marketing positions in diverse sectors such as Consumer Goods, Processed Foods, Utilities, and Industrial Goods.
Post his industry experience, Uday has designed and delivered the Market Research & Business Analytics Courses for corporates as well as business schools. He has developed a research framework to accurately capture the research requirement and execute the research using the latest tools & techniques. He has so far conducted more than two hundred courses for major Business Schools in India and abroad. Prof Bhate’s work has involved application of analytics in FMCG, healthcare, social, education, telecom, infrastructure, retail sectors, among others.
His entrepreneurial role as a consultant for MR and Data Analytics related projects has resulted in several groundbreaking reports. Another aspect of his entrepreneurial spirit is his micro incubator for mentoring upcoming startups. He is a regular contributor to several Government and Private incubators as a mentor and evaluator.
Currently, in addition to his research and teaching work, Prof Uday is focusing on application of AI tools for productivity enhancement.
